The 2019 edition of the European Film Festival in South Africa (EUFF), supported by the European Union Delegation in South Africa, the Goethe-Institut, the French Institute in South Africa, the British Council in South Africa, the Delegation of the Government of Flanders in South Africa, and the embassies of Belgium, Austria, the Netherlands, Ireland, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Poland, will be presented in partnership with Ster-Kinekor at selected Cinema Nouveau theatres.
Curated by Peter Rorvik, the programme for the 2019 edition of EUFF presents an electrifying line-up of 12 films, including System Crasher, directed by Nora Fingscheidt, and introducing 11-years-old Helena Zengel as the indomitable Benni. System Crasher is the German submissionto the 91st Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.
