Please join us for our LAPA housewarming! Our new LAPA space, housed in the Breezeblock building in Brixton, has been open for a little bit now. And just as it is the case with moving into a new home in real life, we needed some time to get our house in order. But now we cannot wait to open our doors to you, welcoming you with open arms in the spirit of neighbourliness, community and collaboration.
We will start in the afternoon with some mellow sounds by DJ Nombuso Mathibela and Jonny Mtsamay, while sipping on a refreshing drink in the Breezeblock courtyard.
Just when the sun is about to set, our stage will be alight with live music with a literal golden hour performance by Zaki Ibrahim, moving our feet and hearts. And when the stars are finally shining over Brixton, Sir LSG will take the night away with his signature sound of soulful and deep house, making sure nobody stays still.
As with every housewarming, we ask you to bring a gift: in our case, this is a book to ensure that the beautiful LAPA library keeps on growing.
