Media Monitoring Africa, Goethe-Institut and the German Embassy will be hosting a panel discussion "Media freedom, digital warfare and Ukraine". This discussion seeks to interrogate media freedom, digital warfare and online offenses during a time of conflict. The panel discussion will take place over two sessions, part one will seek to provide an overview and introduction of the topic and part two will look at the banning of media, social media and the perfect ecosystem conflict provides for disinformation and the harm it causes.

Please note:  This event will be held as a hybrid event with a live audience of 50 people and an online audience via livestream

On the  28th of March 2022 , 11:00am, we will host a workshop with a range of experts and key stakeholders unpacking the topic and various issues around it.
