The Cav’ Platform in partnership with Animation South Africa (ASA) presents the second in a series of Dialogue Forums. This particular event, taking place at the Durban Film Mart, will focus on incubators as a model for industry transformation. The topic will be expanding this topic to include creative clusters, which yield impressive results in the country as seen in Cape Town and Gauteng. This is a strategic opportunity to not only share with the animation community, but also key stakeholders who can influence and support the development of an incubator and/or creative cluster for the province of KwaZulu-natal. It additionally presents an opportunity to share this knowledge with the live action industry who is also in dire need of transformation interventions.
Isabelle Rorke will moderate the Dialogue Forum, with a panel composed of experts in incubation, creative clusters and ecosystems strategy: Levinia Jones, Leoti Taylor and Xolile Vundla.
