A play told through heightened monologues and physical theatre
4 Cups is a play told through heightened monologues and physical theatre. It raises a conversation about how black women's bodies are treated and perceived in South Africa. The four-women production is written and directed by Leanetse Seekoe, choreographed by Kenneth Mphahlele, and performed by Nwabisa Mbambo, Simphiwe Ndlovu, Mbali Ndlozi, and Thendo Khabana.
„4 Cups“ has been supported within the Goethe-Institut Project Space (GPS) programme 2022. The next call for GPS-projects is currently open until 12 September.
