Presented online and in cinemas in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
The European Film Festival in South Africa (EUFF) will be presented online and in cinemas in Cape Town and Johannesburg from 13 to 23 October. Online screenings will be free while a ticket price will be charged for the theatre screenings.
Each film will have a single screening at both Ster-Kinekor’s The Zone in Johannesburg and at The Labia in Cape Town.
The German film on the programme is the witty and delightfully entertaining I’m Your Man by Maria Schrader; a spunky sci-fi dramedy that also asks what it is that humans want in relationships, and whether AI beings should have rights. Since its release in 2021, this film has garnered multiple awards internationally.
