Zimbabwe and Germany – The Goethe-Institut, IYASA and Theater Strahl are proud to present ‘How is the Weather?’ a project that brings together artists from Zimbabwe and Germany to address the consequences of global warming through Theatre from the 22nd -31st May 2023 in Gwanda, Hwange, Bulawayo, and Harare.

The goal of the performances is to reinforce the need for collective action to address the catastrophic effects of climate change. Afterwards, it's travelling to Germany and will be performed in Berlin from June 13th until June 21st.

The production will be performed by four professional artists from both Zimbabwe and Germany. Through their artistic expressions, they hope to inspire conversations about the need for urgent action to address the climate crisis.

The performances will also include interactive segments where the audience can participate and engage with the performers. This will create an opportunity for young people to share their own thoughts and ideas about climate change and the environment.
