Theatre of Violence follows the remarkable journey of Dominic Ongwen, a former child soldier forcibly recruited into Joseph Kony's army at 9-years-old. Decades later, Ongwen finds himself facing indictment by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for war crimes, making him the first former child soldier to be held accountable by the ICC. Through a thought-provoking lens, the documentary offers a multifaceted perspective, examining the ICC's standpoint in The Hague alongside the practice of restorative justice in Northern Uganda.
