Together with young musicians from MIAGI (Music Is A Great Investment), the Ensemble Modern - one of the world's leading ensembles for contemporary music - has formed a body of sound for this concert, which has developed a varied program in a very concentrated work process.
The program includes the "Modelle" by Hans Zender - who was closely associated with the Ensemble Modern for decades - written for free instrumentation, as well as contemporary works with an African connection. The conductor is Zimbabwe-born Vimbayi Kaziboni.
