Join us for the June edition of our Imagination Nights, aptly titled “Women, Music & Media”, as we prepare for a night full of great music and thought-provoking discussions about women & cultural media in South Africa. Presenters on the night are Tebogo Sedumedi and Lebogang Pangwa from HerArtistry as well as Edward Tsumele from CityLifeArts.
HerArtistry’s vision is an Africa where women are united and progressive in building powerful collaborations that showcase their diverse musical crafts; a vision where, under one umbrella, women in music promote their skills and talents to move into a sustainable and thriving future.
CityLife Arts is a new innovative media start-up which gives a platform to artists practising in visual art, theatre, literature, film, dance and music genres. Founded in 2017 by well-known and award winning arts journalist Edward Tsumele, the publication hopes to be a much needed addition to the mainstream, sales-orientated cultural media space in South Africa.
The Goethe-Institut’s Imagination Night series have proven to be an inspiring networking platform for upcoming cultural and creative entrepreneurs – have a drink, meet like-minded people and experience an interactive event posing questions around entrepreneurship, start-ups and the creative side to business!
