Explore how cultural anchors and creative industries can build pride, cohesion, and engagement in small cities. This webinar hosted within the BSR Cultural Pearls project  highlights the role of creative intermediaries in connecting communities with local leaders to tackle key challenges.

The Learning Session 'It takes two to tango' (Collaboration between CCS and Municipalities) is led by an expert in creative industries and cultural entrepreneurship, Assoc. Prof. Ieva Zemīte from Latvia. The session will showcase how creativity drives sustainable development and fosters diversity in communities.

Ieva Zemīte specializes in the intersection of culture and economics, focusing on how creative industries drive sustainable development in small cities and beyond. She has led research and projects that demonstrate the role of creativity in boosting local economies and fostering innovation.
As co-owner of Glass Point, a glass art studio, Ieva applies her expertise to support creative talent and entrepreneurship, bridging theory and practice.
