About the Artist

Bui Suoi Hoa has lived and worked in Ho Chi Minh City since 1988. She stuied under the guidance of Tran Luu Hau at the Hanoi College of Fine Arts. Her works are known for their sharp expression and the colours which are close with the ‘five elemental colours’ of Vietnam. Her works often include seascapes and landscapes, natural objects and Vietnamese opera (cheo).
