Born in Moscow in 1983 and raised in Stuttgart, Nikita Gorbunov first found his voice in the rap scene of the 1990s—before ultimately discovering his passion for literature on the poetry slam stage. With his powerful, rhythmic texts, he toured across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and also worked internationally with the Goethe-Institut.
Today, his work focuses on cultural education: through school workshops, he inspires young people to explore creative writing and develop their own voice and expression.
In this talk, Nikita Gorbunov offers engaging insights into his practice:
  • How can students be motivated to write creatively?
  • Which methods work best in the classroom?
  • Which slam texts are especially suitable for teaching?
  • And why is poetry slam so popular in German-speaking countries?
An inspiring exchange for everyone passionate about bringing language to life!
