Series of events on speaking German | An online service provided by the Deutsche Auslandsgesellschaft
Online language practice for German as a Foreign Language (DaF) students, DaF teachers, and advanced learners
The Deutsche Auslandsgesellschaft e. V. Lübeck (DAG) offers “Deutsch sprechen am Freitag” (DSAF), a free online conversation program for German as a Foreign Language (DaF) teachers, students aspiring to become DaF teachers, and older students with advanced German skills who are, for example, preparing for an exam. Teachers who were students until recently and are urgently seeking language practice are also welcome to join.
DSAF begins with an interactive presentation on a cultural topic (45 minutes). Learners can actively participate by asking written and oral questions and making comments. At the same time, key terms from the presentation are explained briefly and concisely in the chat.
Afterward, the focus shifts to communication, as we move on to

- with teacher education students from German-speaking countries/regions
- and DaF learners from all over the world
