Description
On November 22-23, 2019, a two-day international conference was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, by the Goethe Institut Ljubljana, where experts and practicing teachers presented papers and practical contributions on the topic of Mature Citizens through Foreign Language Learning - the Role of Formative Monitoring. Finally, a panel discussion took place, where six speakers of the conference presented and elaborated on their views and recommendations.

The panelists formulated three recommendations in advance for the development of a responsible citizen through foreign language learning, which they were asked to elaborate and explain in more detail during the panel discussion when asked to do so by the panel moderator, Igor E. Bergant, a well-known Slovenian television journalist, sports commentator, and news anchor for national television.
