Chapter This is me: A book by me about myself

Are your pupils sometimes bored of textbooks and would they prefer to talk about themselves and what is going on in their world? Let them create their very own 'Ich-Buch' where they can experiment with the German language and discover new things.

The "Ich-Buch" is primarily suitable for children and young people between the ages of 8-14+ who are already learning German.
 
In their new "Ich-Buch", children and young people will discover and express themselves in German on topics from their everyday lives and their world, but will also collect appropriate terms in their native language. For example: Do they wear braces? In which order do they get dressed in the morning? Do they have a favourite time of day? Are there four seasons in their country? How many hours would a dream day have to have? What family event do they find annoying? Do they have a pet of their dreams? Does their school have stairs? Which school subject would they like to introduce? Are they sometimes scared on their way to school and what have they found there?

Parts of the book can be integrated into the textbook work. The materials for independent work are primarily intended as textbook extensions or supplements. They can even be used as a substitute for textbooks in the case of topics not covered in the textbook or if certain content is deleted. But even when used in class, learners should be able to experiment with the "Ich-Buch" themselves.
