“Check it Out: Between Like and Fake” is a self-paced online game designed to foster critical thinking and reflective skills when engaging with social media content. It is aimed at anyone interested in critically exploring advertising, native advertising, and the spread of misinformation on social media, as well as strategies for source evaluation and fact-checking. To use the online game Fictional Science, a tablet or laptop with internet access is required. The game is free of charge and ad-free, and can be accessed via the FiSci website.

- Select the “Citizen Science” section and complete the registration form.
- Confirm your registration via the email you receive (please check your spam folder if necessary or request the email again).
