Thomas Mann would have been 150 years old on June 6. To mark the occasion, Zeitgeister, the cultural magazine of the Goethe-Institut, has published an extensive and inspiring collection of articles on the life and work of the Lübeck-born writer.
This collection of articles serves as a basis, source and inspiration for a reading walk that you can integrate into your lessons to encourage your learners to engage with Thomas Mann, his life and work and its relevance today.
The materials can be used as a reading walk, station learning or task buffet. However, it is also possible to use them independently in the classroom.
