Chapter literatür

The aim of the LiteraTür project is to open a new door between German and Turkish literature, which are constantly in contact with each other. This door, which is to be opened between these two languages, invites readers, publishers and all those interested in literature to get to know authors whose books have not yet been translated into the other language and their texts under different thematic focuses. Within the framework of this project, one curator from Germany and one curator from Turkey are selected for each topic, who make the literature of both countries the subject of discussion from their perspective. As a result, LiteraTür is able to show the similarities and differences between the literature of both countries, as well as to make clear the effects of current affairs on German and Turkish literature. LiteraTür presents new perspectives with each topic and thus underlines the diversity and diversity of literature. While the texts created especially for this project open a door between German and Turkish literature, the readers are introduced through the cinematic and written interviews with remarkable authors of both languages.
