Description
As part of the Poesie to-go project, the Goethe-Institut Ljubljana strives to broaden horizons through a surprise effect and cultural mediation through verses encountered in public spaces.
In 2024 and 2025, we featured Mascha Kaléko, Erich Fried, Rose Ausländer, Steffen Jacobs, and Gotthold Ephraim Lessing.
With the help of the teaching materials, we use poetry to stimulate conversation with young people. The topics addressed are very diverse, but each is suitable for discussion in class: freedom, fear, courage, friendship, work, life, and enjoyment.
The worksheets are suitable for use as individual tasks (grammar, writing, discussion scenarios, etc.) as well as for project days or weeks with additional creative tasks and project ideas for further exploration of the given topic.
