You would like to participate with your school? On this page, you will find information on how to register, prepare and hold a reading at your school.
Reading journeys are announced via the newsletter of the library and German education cooperation and via our website. Once the date for the next reading tour is posted, you can register to participate in the reading tour. The cost per school and per reading is € 100.
To prepare for the reading, your students should have read at least parts of the book. A detailed teaching guide for each book will be made available for download at least two months before the reading tour begins. The didactic material will help you to prepare the reading with your students in terms of content and language.
During the reading, the author introduces him/herself, reads parts of the book and answers the students' questions.
Schools that would like to welcome an author are invited to contact us. We are also very interested in your experiences, ideas and suggestions. And, of course, all your questions!
