We are pleased to partner with The Picture House, a historic movie theater just outside the Bronx, on a German cinema showcase highlighting some of the most exciting films of the past two years. The selection includes the too-strange-to-be-true Curveball, the Krimi Free Country, Christian Petzold’s magical Undine, and a children’s matinee with Rocca Changes the World. Caroline Link’s family saga When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit opens the program on October 15, 7pm, and will be preceded by an outdoor reception. All films screen in person only.

If you’re interested in learning more about German cinema, make sure to sign up for the online film class that The Picture House’s education department is offering and Anthology Film Archives programmer Jed Rapfogel is teaching through October 26!
