Die Bilder dieser Ausgabe des Humboldt-Magazins stammen von dem argentinischen Fotografen und bildenden Künstler Nestor Barbitta. Er absolvierte ein Bild- und Sounddesignstudium an der Universidad de Buenos Aires und arbeitet in den Bereichen Fotografie, Videoproduktion und visuelle Kunst. Seine Werke wurden in Buenos Aires, Madrid und Berlin ausgestellt. Im Jahr 2020 wurde er mit dem 3. Platz des Itaú-Preises für Bildende Kunst ausgezeichnet. Nestor Barbitta ist auch professioneller Drohnenpilot.
