Rogier Creemers is Assistant Professor in China Studies at Leiden University. He focuses on China’s domestic technology policy and its role in global cyber governance. His work has been published in multiple academic journals, and he has contributed to media outlets including the Economist, the New York Times, CNN and BBC. He is also a co-founder of the DigiChina project, which endeavours to make China’s technology regulations more accessible to global audiences.
