Lecture

Speaker: Roman Wittig
Presented by: Christoph Bartman
Language: English with German interpretation
Lichthaus Kino 3

How do you find your bearings within your surroundings? Accompanied by Roman Wittig, we venture to gaze into the world of our closest relatives. The primate researcher from the renowned Max Planck Institute heads the Tai Chimpanzee Project in Côte d’Ivoire and has intensively observed and studied the complex communities of great apes for many years. He reveals what orientation means in the life of a chimpanzee – and what we humans can learn about ourselves from this.
