Reem Al-Masri is a journalist covering the intersection of technology and politics at 7iber, an independent media agency in Jordan. Her current work focuses on political economy of the infrastructure and its impact on censorship and surveillance in Jordan and the Arab Region. Reem Al-Masri currently leads digital security training at 7iber and researches how independent media institutions can incorporate digital security processes within their journalistic practice. She holds an MA in Culture, Communication, and Technology with a certificate in Arab Studies from Georgetown University.
