Kamogelo Matsoso, born in 1994, is a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and composer in the field of jazz and soul from South Africa. She also works as a lecturer. She studied performing arts with a focus on jazz performance and performing arts management, art history and music economics at the Wits School of Arts at Witwatersrand University. Since 2015 she has performed professionally as Kamo on around Johannesburg and Pretoria. Currently she is doing her Masters in History of Art where she interrogates the representation of the black female body in performance arts.
