Nare Mokgotho is a South African visual artist. He holds a master's degree in fine arts from the University of the Witwatersrand. His research interests include black identities as well as the everyday and common in contemporary South African life. He is currently investigating the possibilities that boredom and denial offer to the notions of modern subjectivity. He is co-curator of the project Izwe: Plant Praxis and one half of the artistic collaboration MADEYOULOOK.
