The regional touring sound-exhibition Mirath:Music was presentd during the course of 10 days at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts Sculpture Park in l'Weibdeh, Amman. Visitors where invited to explore the 15 productions by seven pioneering artists from Jordan, Algeria, Sudan, Tunis, Lebanon, Palestine and Iraq through a sound-installation realized by the two curators Reem Marji and Joud Tamimi. The exhibition texts, co-written by the artists and Christina Hazboun and illustrated by Asha Athman, floated from the trees and playfully connected the different sounds reverberating throughout the park, bridging different times and places.
