Dyah Isaka Parameswara (Woro) was born in Malang, and now lives and works in Yogyakarta. She is interested in the various sound produced by synths, pedals, and analogue electronics. Her styles span ambient, drone, and hypnotizing harsh noise, and are performed under the moniker of Menstrual Synthdrone.
Menstrual Synthdrone first appeared at the Jogja Noise Bombing Fest in 2013 in collaboration with Sodadosa. After that successful performance the two artists joined to form an abrasive ambient duo named Sulfur.
Woro earned Bachelor degree from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts, Yogyakarta in 2012.
