2nd Edition
In October, a selection of the Science Film Festival 2020 will be shown in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay, which deals with ecology and the environment. Young people and adults, but also children from the age of 6 are addressed to deal with the topic of sustainability.

We see the films as food for thought for what each of us can contribute to restoring the balance between people and nature, whether it is about sustainable production or sustainable consumption, reducing CO2 emissions, waste or inequalities in access to vital resources. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the screenings and additional offers take place in virtual space. The regional focus of the festival lies with the Goethe Institute and the initiative “Schools: Partners for the Future” (PASCH). The films are freely accessible to the general public and are used in the PASCH schools in the region for German lessons.
