Uma parte essencial do Science Film Festival é a curadoria das atividades que complementam os temas explorados nos filmes através de experiências práticas, projetos ou jogos de aprendizagem oferecidos para o público jovem nas exibições.

Os parceiros do festival de todos os países participantes trocam e adaptam ideias para atividades educativas que complementam os filmes em um workshop internacional e em workshops nacionais subsequentes. O Science Film Festival oferece um ambiente de aprendizado eficaz e agradável através dessa abordagem multidisciplinar.

Nesta seção, facilitadores, professores e pais encontram atividades relacionadas aos filmes do Science Film Festival anual para alunos de três categorias: Primeiros passos (5-8 anos), Nível 1 (9-11 anos), Nível 2 (12-16 anos), Público geral (a partir de 17 anos). Entre elas estão jogos de aprendizagem, projetos e experiências práticas que podem ser feitas antes ou depois de visitar o festival para enriquecer a experiência. As atividades permanecerão aqui após cada festival e também podem ser usadas de forma independente dos filmes.
