Cha Yeonså explores themes of displacement, decay, and lingering presence through drawing and performance. In the recent drawing series Festival, Cha Yeonså cuts and draws unclaimed bodies, bugs, and poetic words, creating spaces where they can hang and exist. The process of gazing of endings that never end, caring for bodies that tremble, rupture, and open.

Cha has presented live performances such as heol, heol, heol (COEX Frieze Seoul: Live, SAPY Gray Room, 2024) and Mosquitolarvajuice (LES601, 2022). Solo exhibitions include Feed Me Stones (SAPY Gray Room, 2024), KKOCH-DA-BAL is still there (Sahng-up Gallery, 2024), and Every mosquito feels the same (TINC, 2022). They have also participated in group exhibitions such as Tongue of Rain (Art Sonje Center, 2024) and The Motel (Misungjang Motel, 2023).
