Gantuya Badamgarav is a curator with a background in macro-economic policy. She founded 976 Art Gallery and the Mongolian Contemporary Art Support Association, curating over 100 exhibitions both in Mongolia and abroad, including four editions of the Mongolia Pavilion at the Venice Art Biennale (2015–2022). She has collaborated with documenta, Gwangju Biennale, and the Asia Pacific Triennial to promote Mongolian artists internationally.

In 2021, she established Red Corner – International Artist Residency, and in 2024, co-launched XAOS – International Festival of Experimental Music and Visual Art. Her work bridges traditional Mongolian culture and contemporary art, including A Temporality (2019), an experimental sound project supported by the Goethe International Co-Production Fund. She continues to develop interdisciplinary and transnational projects.
