Gao Yitian is the Director of Operations at the FIRST International Film Festival in Beijing. Dedicated to promoting emerging Chinese filmmakers, he has curated key programs such as Berlinale Spotlight (2021), introducing a selection of Berlinale short films to Chinese audiences.

Within FIRST International Film Festival, he has developed sections like FIRST Short Film, FIRST FRAME, and FIRST Pioneer, showcasing innovative cinematic approaches. As a producer, his projects include Wrath of Silence (2017, dir. Xin Yukun) and All Tomorrow’s Parties (2022, dir. Zhang Dalei, Berlinale Shorts 2021). He was also involved in the post-production of An Elephant Sitting Still (2018, dir. Hu Bo), facilitating its release in Korean cinemas in 2019.
