Petra Poelzl is a curator, dramaturge, and researcher with a background in Sinology, Chinese language, and theater studies. Her curatorial practice spans visual arts, dance, and performance, focusing on interdisciplinary approaches that connect artistic creation and academic research. She has received research grants from institutions such as the Asia Art Archive and DAAD, and her writings have been published in academic journals, exhibition catalogs, and cultural magazines.
Currently based in Berlin, Poelzl works as a curator for dance and performance at HAU Hebbel am Ufer, where she recently curated the interdisciplinary festival Love is a Verb.
