Tintin Zhao is an arts professional with a strong interest in public engagement and audience reflection within the cultural sector. She is dedicated to thoughtfully connecting institutions with diverse public audiences through nuanced and inclusive approaches.

Tintin holds an academic background in Museums and Galleries in Education from University College London and Communication from the Communication University of China. She has previously worked with esteemed cultural institutions including the Royal Observatory Greenwich, National Portrait Gallery, Barbican Centre, Highgate Cemetery, and the Royal Opera House. Currently, she contributes to the curation and management of public programs at the Rockbund Art Museum in Shanghai.

Solitude: Loneliness and Freedom and Curatorial Practices in Asia (CPA) presents A Retreat for the Retreated – a three-day gathering that explores the themes of solitude, artistic freedom, and collective resilience. This project brings together diverse art spaces and collectives from across China to share, reflect upon, and reimagine curatorial practices beyond conventional boundaries.
