Wu Qi is a writer, editor, and cultural curator engaged in contemporary thought and literary discourse in China. He hosts the podcast The Turn of the Screw. He also curates the One-Way Street Bookstore Literary Award and the Sailors Project, while serving on the council of the One-Way Street Foundation.

As a literary critic and translator, Wu co-authored The Self as Method: In Conversation with Xiang Biao and translated James Baldwin’s The Fire Next Time and Go Tell It on the Mountain into Chinese. His work extends to serving on juries for the True Story Award, FIRST International Film Festival, and Frontline Fellowship. He closely follows developments in China’s cultural industries, particularly the evolving ideas and practices of contemporary creators.
