The workshop is conducted by BMW Group/ Davide Cadamuro and Mingyang Ma.

Communication causes a wide range of emotions and intentions, and not all of them are positive. Conversation is the most human way to interact, and chatbots are engineered to use conversation to interact with humans. This exposes both parts to the risk of harassment, verbal abuse, hostility, or simply misunderstanding.
In this workshop we would like to analyse some of the possible cases of human-chatbot miscommunication patterns, to understand their causes, and to discuss solutions and strategies to cope with these blunders.

This workshop is aimed at the participants of the summer school and will not be available online.
