Laura Anh Thu Dang was born in 1994 in the Ruhr area in Mülheim an der Ruhr, the child of boat people. She grew up bilingual, speaking both Vietnamese and German.
Now a radio artist and feature writer, she completed her master’s degree in media art and media design at the Institute for Experimental Radio at the Bauhaus University Weimar. Her areas of interest include stories about the Vietnamese diaspora in Germany; she would like to help make this community more visible.
