Building Women's Leadership through Art

We believe in the importance of fostering women’s leadership in all areas. Unfortunately, due to discrimination, oppression and cultural influences, women’s leadership abilities have not always been sufficiently acknowledged. It is essential to recognize that women possess innate leadership qualities and have the potential to become exceptional leaders.

As part of Program of Care 2.0, the workshop titled “Building Women’s Leadership through Art” was led by Ma Su Htwe Aung, who is the founder of Kalasa Art Space and is deeply involved in art healing. Our immersive five-day workshop offered a transformative journey that empowers women to transcend their current identity and reach new heights.

The workshop aimed to:
- Enhance self-awareness.
- Overcome self-sabotage.
- Foster self-worth and self-love.
The final two days of the workshop were dedicated to the creation of visionary artworks. Through this creative process, participants embodied self-leadership and shaped a new version of themselves, aligning their artistic expression with their personal growth. This workshop was designed for women who seek self-discovery and are passionate about women’s leadership. It offered a supportive environment for those eager to explore their true potential and have a positive impact on their personal and professional lives.

Those interested could register via an online form and choose to attend group (A) or (B) for the dates that best suited them. A limited number of spots were available. The workshop was held in Myanmar language.
