Stress Management Sessions - An Introduction to YES!+ Workshop

We were very pleased to host the workshop “Stress Management Sessions – An Introduction to YES!+ Workshop” in collaboration with Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre of the Embassy of India. This was the fourth workshop of the Program of Care 2.0 series initiated by Goethe-Institut Myanmar.

To get the most out of life, we need to increase energy, conserve the energy we have, and manage our time well. This workshop provided us with the means to be productive and dynamic while staying calm and centered. It introduced the participants to energizing breathing techniques, yoga, meditation, and some easy ways to manage stress. Specifically, the workshop instructed the participants in the following:
* How to decrease stress with the “Yogic Coffee” deep breathing technique.
* How to handle fear and worry plus insights into the “3 tendencies of the mind”.
* How to enter the present moment; instruction with a 15-minute live guided meditation.
* An introduction to Sudarshan Kriya™, a world-renowned breathing technique by The Art of Living; this included how to say goodbye to stress, thanks to free, practical, and concise guidance.

The workshop was led by Mr. Ritam Khan, a teacher from the Embassy of India, Yangon. Anyone between the ages of 18 and 30 was welcome to join the free workshop.
