The Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft is the joint initiative of German industry – with around 3,000 companies, corporate associations and private individuals as members – for the promotion of science and the new generation of scientists. It develops programmes and supports initiatives which help solve structural problems in higher education and science – including the ongoing development of German as, for example, a language of science.
