1965-1967 studies English and Ethnology; works in nursing homes and hospitals; travels to Greece, Turkey, Ireland; Lives in Tophane /Istanbul; becomes a drug addict
1968-1972 returns to Frankfurt; joins the Linkeck-Commune in Berlin; editor of the underground paper "Zoom" and "UFO"; publication of his first novel "Tophane"; manages to break the drug habit
1973-1980 lives and works Munich, United States and Spain, Belgium and Netherlands; joins the German Authors’ Society; writes screenplays, poems and short stories and a biography about Marlon Brando; translates biographies of James Dean and Joan Baez
1981-1985 moves to Berlin; editor and columnist for Tip Magazine; publication of the novel "Der Schneemann", collected stories and essays; marries Gabriele Osswald; moves to Munich
1986-1987 research about the drug trade in Thailand: Indonesia tour with the Achim Reichel band; writes a serialized crime novel for the magazine "Wiener"; fatal car accident in Munich
