German Books in Australian Libraries

You can borrow any titles listed here via inter-library loan through your local public library. The annotated lists give you an overview of the books and audio books available for loan. New titles will be added as they come in.

Goethe-Institut Australia donates titles to state and territory libraries which then hold them in their special collections in languages other than English. The “German Collections” are offered in partnership with the State Libraries of NSW, Queensland and Western Australia, the Northern Territory Library, Plain Central Services (South Australia), and the Yarra Plenty Regional Library (Victoria).
