Goethe-Institut Bangladesh is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Hence, it is older than the People’s Republic of Bangladesh itself which commemorates its 40th anniversary this year.
In the course of the past five centuries Goethe-Institut initiated a lively cultural exchange between Germany and Bangladesh.
Together with our local partners we arranged innumerable exhibitions, concerts, readings and other events. We are pleased and proud of our achievements. For the future we hope that we can continue the successful work in further cooperation with our long-time partners, friends and supporters of whom some will share their experience with Goethe-Institut Bangladesh on this website.
