You Must Relax
You Must Relax was founded in Tallinn and consists of Eve Arpo, born 1979, architect, and Riin Rõõs, media artist, born 1978, who have been working together since 2007. Their art is focused on mobile phones, including the public installation A Day without the Mobile Phone and Mobile Phone Symphony, an instrument involving hundreds of old mobile phones collected from people in Estonia.
Eve Arpos work lies on the border between art and architecture, including the poetics of space and the body. Arpo studied architecture at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, New Media at the Estonian Academy of Arts, and contemporary dance at the Fine5 dance theater in Tallinn.
Riin Rõõs’s main interest is the combination of participation and media in art. She has created art and cultural projects in several institutions. Rõõs graduated in public relations from the Tallinn Technical University and in New Media from the Estonian Academy of Arts.
