Bringing films, filmmakers and curators from the African diaspora in Europe into dialogue with audiences and film professionals across Kenya Afropean Cinema

Through film screenings, workshops, masterclasses and public discussions, Afropean Cinema creates opportunities for audiences to engage with diverse artistic perspectives from African diasporic communities living and working in Europe. It is a platform for dialogue between African and diasporic film communities, using cinema as a space to explore identity, mobility, belonging, and exploring the wealth of artistic expression across Africa and Europe.

Among other things, we offer various events for people at any German language level as well as for literary translators.

Reference use of the library is free of charge. To borrow books and other media a valid library card is needed.
