Like this or like that? – Lesson planning and discovering new possibilities using didactic-methodical principles

As a teacher, you make a variety of decisions every day during the preparation and implementation of your lessons. Should students work with this or that material? Is it more reasonable to work individually or work in pairs? Does this activity offer enough exercise opportunities? Is it challenging enough, or even too simple?
Didactic-methodical principles such as activity-orientation, learner-activation or personalization, which are the basis of the Goethe-Institut’s practical continuing education and professional development series Deutsch Lehren Lernen® (DLL) and serve as guidelines that offer you orientation and at the same time let you discover leeway.
In this kick-off session of this year’s Kurz & bündig series, we would like to present selected principles on the basis of concrete teaching examples and show you how didactic-methodical principles can help you to expand your scope for action.

In this session, you will learn how to encourage your learners to participate actively through the use of feedback, varied social forms, cooperative forms of work and classroom management.

Please register here by Monday 14 June 2021.
