Application requirements

The scholarships are open to students who meet the following requirements: applicants are students of German attending a secondary school in Australia students are aged between 15-17 at the time of travel the student wants to continue studying German at senior high school level students are Australian citizens or permanent residents the student and their parents/ guardians agree that the student may have to travel alone the students agree to write a report about their experiences and their stay on their return

All courses include: German instruction including teaching materials Placement test Sports, culture and leisure-time program Accommodation in boarding schools (or hotels for young adults) International flights Full board Professional supervision Internet access Airport transfer on arrival and departure Medical Insurance More information about the summer camp can be found here: More information Please disregard the information provided about dates, enrollment and payment. Travel to Austria with the Goethe-Institut Scholarships for Students of German for a 2-week German language summer camp!

Our language camp is located in the mountains around Salzburg in one of the most beautiful surroundings that Austria has to offer.

We provide many leisure and sports activities, whether in the beautiful landscape around us or directly at our youth hotel. Of course, they have to complete their German lessons first, which consist of two blocks of lessons in the morning and three to four times a week one block in the afternoon. 

Please note: The application process for 2024 has been finalised. Information for the application process in 2025 will follow at the end of this year.
